More than 15 years ago I was in an incident that left me fighting for my life. On three occassions I 'died'. As a result I was left with multiple injuries which has left me disabled. I am a survior. I am an author, I wrote about my experiences in my book- The causeway- the bridge from here to there, a Near Death Experience.

Hello Jo,
Happy Easter to you, keep safe.
Wouldn't it be lovely if everyone could do an act of kindness, it might be a different world to live in.
Take care,
Margaret
Hi Joanne,
What you say is so true and the act of kindness can be so very small and yet have a significant effect.
A simple smile to a stranger on the street can sometimes bring some healing that we aren't even aware of. That simple acknowledgement of a person who may be feeling depressed can have an uplifting effect that far exceeds the simple act of kindness.
Cheers
Rudy
HI Jo..hope you have had a good Easter weekend.
I do little things and the kids say, what are you doing? I tell them it makes me feel good and it doesn't cost anything to help.
I don't keep tabs..but awhile ago ..an old acquaintance who unfortunately has fallen onto hard times ( with substances) turned up very late one night..I invited her in , had a coffee and listened to all her 'self- inflicted' woes that she couldnt' see..turned out she was stuck in our suburb with no way home..so I packed the kids up and drove her a fair distance home. My son asked why..and I said just because I felt like it. We havnen't seen her since but I hope she is well.
